The Bluesky Boat
Bluesky – 25 foot Kevlacat

Twin Suzuki 175 h.p. 4-stroke outboard engines

A 25 foot Australian built Kevlacat catamaran, the Blue Sky is the perfect “pocket fisherman” for small groups (up to 4) in these waters. It’s twin Suzuki 175 h.p. 4-stroke outboards provide the power for impressive top speeds and both coastal and open ocean cruising of about 22 knots depending on conditions while consuming a miserly 70 liters per hour.

With a full array of navigational equipment, depth sounders and fish finders, if the fish are out there Blue Sky is likely to find them. Non-fishers (up to 6), find Blue Sky comfortable, safe and laid back. And for divers, there’s a rear deck and ample room for gear for four.

Fishing gear, bait, and snorkeling equipment is provided. A full range of safety equipment includes lifejackets, fire extinguishers, flares, harnesses (PFDs), etc.

March to May is big-game fishing season for sailfish, for which Siargao is particularly famous. Wahoo (tangigue) and yellow fin tuna are also found during this time. Barracudas are found closer to shore. Night fishing is best from May to November, where yellow fin tuna weighting between 35 to 70 kilos can be found. Trolling for durado (also known as dolphin fish and mahi-mahi) is possible fromAugust to November.
